Police used water cannon and rubber bullets in Bern last night to drive an unauthorized demonstration back from the Federal Palace.

But last night’s protest was smaller than the previous weeks.
Police moved in after demonstrators got too close to the parliament building. They say 80 people were ordered out of the city centre, nine were arrested and four are expected to be charged with public order offences.
