A young motorcyclist died and several others injured after a major accident in Geneva on Saturday evening.
Near the Place des Eaux-Vives just before 7pm a motorbike hit a minivan and burst into flames, a second bike also crashed.
Both motorcycles carried passengers aged between 18 and 19. The rider of the first bike, a 19-year-old French national died on the spot. It’s the seventh death on Geneva roads this year.
An investigation is underway.
