It’s been revealed one of the two Swedish nationals killed in a terror attack in Brussels on Monday evening lived in Switzerland.
The two were heading to a football match in the city.
The suspected gunman was shot dead by police during his arrest yesterday morning. A video message was posted online by a man identifying himself as the attacker – saying he’d been motivated by the Islamic State.
The Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs say they are aware one of the victims was a Swiss resident.
He was a 60 year old grandfather who lived in Bern and worked for Swiss Federal Railways.
