Actor Colin Farrell has downplayed his latest honour, received Saturday at Zurich Film Festival.
He was given the Golden Ico Award at the 21st edition of the festival.
The 49-year-old told the audience it was “ridiculous” to be rewarded for a job he already loved. He said his career had given him more than he could ever return - with travel, financial security, and rich experiences.
Farrell stressed that filmmaking is always a team effort, praising writers, directors, cameramen and even the costume designer on his latest project, Ballad of a Small Player.
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson was the focus for photographers as she attended the festival in a so called ‘naked dress’. The blue outfit, designed by Gucci, was highly revealing.
The naked dress is a current trend – fellow Hollywood star, Margot Robbie recently stunned Londoners in one at a premier earlier this month.
