Around 2,000 construction workers took to the streets of Geneva yesterday, answering a two-day strike call by local unions.
The protest is part of a national movement.
The workers are fighting a proposal to alter their working hours which will allow for longer weeks and Saturday working – a move they say will be exhausting and endanger health and safety.
