The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has increased in recent weeks in Switzerland. Despite the increase, it’s still considered to be a low level and those hospitalised remains very few.
In the week beginning 8 July, 484 cases were recorded, according to the Federal Office of Public Health.
The gradual decline of immunity in the Swiss population can be explained as the immunity simply wears off over time.
We’re still reminded to avoid contact with vulnerable people if you have any symptoms of a cold.
