The government will no longer issue Covid certificates from the end of the month and the currently suspended Covid app will be closed.
The Federal Council said yesterday there’s no need for certificates to travel and the legal basis for them expires and will not be renewed.
The certificates can still be used if asked for – but they will not be verified.
But even they will expire two years after being issued or updated.
