Covid infection rates are on the up again. The latest numbers show a rise of 30% from this time last week.
But experts say this is nothing to worry about and it was expected with the lifting of the mask wearing rules and health passes.
The important number to watch out for is hospitalizations, and that is still falling. There are only 143 in intensive care at the moment – that was double in December.
The public transport mask wearing rules are unlikely to be lifted before the end of this month.
From April the government’s Covid ordinance lapses anyway and all measures fall away.
