A mysterious Tesla cybertruck has been filmed on the streets of Basel.
It’s uncertain if it’s the same vehicle that was stopped in canton Valais a few weeks ago. That one had temporary Basel licence plates.
Cyber trucks are not authorised for Swiss roads – but the owner may have found a loophole.
The latest one has US plates. Federal authorities have confirmed that foreign registered cars are allowed on the roads for limited periods if they comply with the rules of their registered country.
But it won’t be a long-term solution.
