A Davos restaurant which rents out skiing and snow equipment is under fire for putting up a sign it won’t hire equipment to Jewish tourists.
The restaurant claims it’s a decision due to the high number of sleds and snow shoes which are damaged are not returned.
The sign was written in Hebrew.
Davos is a popular winter destination for Orthodox Jews.
The Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities is dismayed – saying it’s clearly discriminatory. The Secretary General, Jonathan Kreutner, says they will file a complaint.
