The new rules shouldn’t affect the upcoming Course de l’Escalade in Geneva, according to organisers.
The federal government hasn’t banned demonstrations of more than 300 and the start and finish line areas were already going to be limited to those with a health pass.
But the traditional parade is under threat. The 1602 Company says it’s not possible to control the whole of the route to make sure spectators have a health pass.
A final decision will be made when the possible new rules are clearer – perhaps at the beginning of next week.
