An eye specialist is warning that working from home is causing havoc with some people’s vision.
The Vice President of the Swiss Ophthalmological Association, Alessandra Sansonetti, told the Tribune de Genève that our eyes are not designed to be in front of a screen for hours at a time and people at home tend to have cheaper screens than in the office that don’t filter blue light properly which can lead to sleep problems.
The advice is to invest in a better home work station if possible and wear contact lenses less.
But anyone suffering from eye problems should seek professional advice.
