Many of the federal asylum centers are now full and the government run website advises those looking for accommodation not to go there.
Even so, press reports suggest there are still queues forming.
But the State Secretariat for Migration says anyone looking for a bed will have one guaranteed by today.
Already 5,200 refugees from Ukraine have been registered – nearly half are being accommodated by private individuals.
