The Grand St Bernard Tunnel remains closed due to avalanche danger. No date for its reopening has been set.
An earlier snowslide brought down tress and damaged 300 meters of the tunnel.
The pass is also closed for the same reason.
Many more cantonal roads are also closed and diversions have been set up – but some should reopen later today.
