The Health Minister Alain Berset says self-testing kits will be available in pharmacies around the country by the 7th April.
He added there will be further tests arriving after that.
He says the arrival of the tests is a week behind schedule.
Speaking on Swiss Television, Berset apologised for the delay, but says that’s normal during the pandemic.
