A family in the town of Wolfenschiessen in Canton Nidwalden had a narrow escape in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They were woken up by a rumbling sound, and discovered the cause when the sun came up.
A large boulder had rolled down a nearby mountain and stopped only 25 meters away from their home.
It was heading right for it.
It was 6m3, and if it hit the house, it would have undoubtedly destroyed it.
