Police in neighbouring France launched a major hunt for a possible drowning victim after cloths were found on a river bank yesterday in Frangy.
The clothes were found around midday are said to have belonged to a young woman.
Despite the use of search teams and a helicopter, nothing was found and a theory of a drowning has since been ruled out.
