High rents, steep health insurance premiums, and job worries are putting pressure on people in Switzerland, according to a new survey by Comparis.
Only 29% of men and just 18% of women feel positive about their financial future.
Health insurance is a real headache with 16% say they often struggle to pay, and that jumps to 22% in households earning under CHF 4,000 a month.
Nearly half of adults say they’re doing okay overall, but about a quarter are watching every franc, and 6% say they don’t have enough to get by.
Most are cutting back on things like gadgets, clothes, and eating out and more young people are even considering taking out loans.
