Migros vegan confusion

Migros is reassuring its vegan customers that a package of vegetable balls is vegan, despite the ingredient label.

The package is marked suitable for vegans, but the ingredient label says it contains egg whites – which obviously are not vegan.

Migros explained the front label saying its vegan is correct, it was the ingredients at the back which were not.

In fact, all the ingredients were wrong - It was for the vegetable balls which are vegetarian – not vegan.

But those with allergies are concerned as the incorrect amount of soy was listed.

Only about half a percent of the population are vegan – and Migros say only a very few incorrectly labelled products were sold.
