A mystery over a missing man is deepening.
In 2003, a man identified as only Damien left his home in Aargau, his wife and his son. He officially deregistered from his commune and had a new passport issued. No one has seen him since.
He would now be aged 55.
Over the years Damian’s father died – leaving behind an inheritance. So, it could be claimed by Damian’s son, the family applied to the court to have him declared officially missing.
The court issued the paperwork, but then there was an application to have the declaration lifted – made by someone called Damien. The paperwork was lodged at the Swiss Embassy in the Dominican Republic. But as there was no address listed for the applicant – it can’t be certain who made the claim.
But the court didn’t change Damian’s status – as the person didn’t pay the court fee either.
