New Service from Twint

The payment app with more than 6 million users will offer digital direct debits from next year

The service will let customers pay recurring bills like rent and mobile phone through the app, with a 30 day window to contest any charge. Twint is timing the launch to fill the gasp left by LSV+, the current interbank direct debit system, which is going out of service in 2028. The company says Switzerland's largest banks are on board.
