The rise in online shopping is having a negative impact on local retailers.
A large study carried out across the Grand Genève area showed online spending has tripled since 2018.

The Geneva State Councillor, Delphine Bachmann, is campaigning for more Sunday openings which she says will help Swiss based shops to compete with those in France, which does allow for some Sunday trading.
