Drivers on Lausanne's main motorway are facing nights of closures this week between Écublens and the Maladière junction
The A1 will be shut from ten at night to five in the morning until Friday, while crews dismantle scaffolding on an overpass.
Westbound lanes toward Geneva close first, before the eastbound side takes its turn on the final night.
Traffic will be diverted via the Crissier exit onto the secondary road network, and the motorway reopens each day at dawn.
