Queues predicted for southern routes this summer

It'll be busy on the roads this summer

Drivers heading south this summer should brace for heavy queues at the Gotthard tunnel, with the TCS motoring organisation warning that traffic will be worst at weekends through July and August. 

The A13 via the San Bernardino, and the Great St Bernard pass, are signposted as alternatives.
