The Rugby World Cup enters the knockout phase this weekend – and for the first time ever a Rugby Fan Zone is being set up in Geneva.
It’s the idea of local businessman, Iain Wise, who’s played rugby for years and has run local bars in the city.
He says he had the idea at the last World Cup – but was too late to put in an application.
This year, the city has given the go ahead to put a large TV and tent on the Plainpalais.
A large bar, food trucks and an inflatable rugby pitch means there’s always something to do between the matches.
Iain says the Fanzone will mean a great atmosphere...
The Fanzone will be open today from 5pm – but there aren’t any games today – tomorrow, Wales play Argentina at 5pm and then at 9pm, Ireland meet New Zealand.
Sunday, England play Fiji at 5 and France play South Africa at 9.
The fanzone opens two hours before kick off of the first game.
