The Salève Cable Car has reopened after two years of renovation costing EUR 13m.
The stations have been completely renewed and expanded and the restaurant on top of the mountain has been completely rebuilt with large windows to make the most of the view.
One side of the top station has been converted to a 20-metre-high climbing wall.
Project managers say the work was carried out to make sure the environment was protected and that some of the original work that had been lost over time has been renovated.
