A large Swiss company, which is not being named, says it’s been attacked by Russian hackers and 700 gigabytes of sensitive information is now on the dark web.
The company installs IT and electricity systems for companies – including the TPG.
It says it was given an ultimatum by the attackers but the information was published around a week ago.
The documents show invoices, contracts, floor plans and location of security cameras.
The company has worked with many institutions from shopping centres to police stations.
There’s also some confidential information about security systems at Geneva airport now on the web.
The attack is being investigated by the Federal Office for Cybersecurity.
