Students at the University of Geneva left the Uni Mail building last night following another pro-Palestinian protest. They say they will continue today.
They’re unhappy with the statement from the university which they feel doesn’t go far enough.
Although the statement says the university supports a call for a ceasefire and the release of the hostages – the students say it’s not enough.
They demanding the university is clear about which Israeli institutions it deals with.
Pro-Palestinian banners are back in the hall, but not the one which reads ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be Free.’ Some consider that to be calling for the destruction of Israel.
