Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Swiss-made components have been found in Russian drones shot down over Ukraine.
In a post on social media, he claimed Russia used more than 500 drones and missiles in Sunday night’s massive attack, many containing foreign-made parts.
Among them, Zelensky said, were converters, sensors and microcomputers from Western countries including Switzerland, the US and Germany.
He specified that micro-controllers for unmanned aerial vehicles are produced in Switzerland.
Kyiv has announced new sanctions against the manufacturers involved and is urging partners to tighten supply chains.
