Thousands of Swisscom customers were unable to access the internet yesterday morning.
The outage affected phones and home connections for almost an hour, right in the middle of morning rush hour.
Swisscom says they received 8,000 complaints in that time.
Most of the problems were in the German speaking regions - but the company says there were also problems elsewhere.
Swisscom’s PR team fought back against claims being made on social media that it’s suffering more and more technical problems.
The company says it has not had any major issues for a while – and any local cable problems are likely to be outside its control.
