The federal government says its aim to have vaccinated everyone who wants to be by the summer is still on target, despite slowing rates over the past few weeks due to lack of supply.
Nora Kronig, Deputy Head of the Federal Health Office says supplies will be ramping up ‘massively’ over the next few weeks.
1.3 million doses have been supplied so far and nearly a million have been administered. 300,000 people have had both doses.
The deliveries that were expected in February will arrive, she says, and that will be on top of those already ordered and should be delivered next month.
