TCS launches app to find cheaper fuel

The motoring organisation, the TCS, is launching a new app today which will be able to track the cheapest fuel in the country.

It will be available to everyone, even non-TCS members.

The information is being supplied by the 1.5 million TCS members. There are already 2,000 serviced stations with information.

The TCS says it’s very easy to input the information - and those who do are being entered into a competition to win prizes. 

The initial results show some significant differences – but the managing director of the TCS, Jürg Wittwer warns against making an unnecessary journey just to get a few centimes off a litre of fuel.
