Thousands of people flocked to the Palais de Justice in Geneva on Saturday for an open day. The last time that happened was back in 2016.
There were mock trials and hearings - where the visitors could act as a jury.
One fake criminal trial was run several times during the day, with the public giving the final verdict. Despite the same evidence – they reached different opinions.
Judges were on hand to talk about their jobs and there was an opportunity to look inside a courtroom – for those who have avoided it so far.
Around 3,000 looked around the old buildings dating from the 19th century and a relatively new wing built in 1980.
