The Geneva transport strike scheduled for the 28th is off.
The transport company, the TPG, has referred the case to the Chamber of Labour Relations. While the issue is before the arbitration committee – any industrial action is illegal.
Unions are calling for their pay to be index linked with inflation - but the TPG say they can’t afford a pay rise after the lockdown disruption.
This means transport will run normally on the 28th and the next day – which is the Fête des écoles.
