We’re all choosing to go bigger – and the football is to blame.
Sales of large screen TVs are soaring- and there was a boost just before the start of the Euros.
But the trend is clear - every time we upgrade our TV, we go for a bigger size.
This is backed up by retailers in Geneva. FNAC told the Tribune de Genève that a few years ago the normal size for a TV was 42 inches – now it’s mainly 65 and even some more at 75.
MediaMarkt says there’s also a demand for 98 inch sets – with several models to choose from.
