Unsurprisingly last month was the hottest September on record, but weather watchers are already looking ahead to this month and wondering if October will be the warmest as well.
It’s already a record - it’s the hottest start to an October, ever.
But the forecaster, Roger Perret, told the Blick it’s too early to say – bult he does say the first half of the month does look good, but it is likely to get a little cooler from Wednesday – but still warm for the time of year.
But the Indian summer does look set to stay around. The end of the week will see temperatures climb once again.
