Switzerland’s vaccine roll out has been hit with another problem. The syringes being distributed are too large to be used for an updated dosage regime.
In an effort to make up for delivery delays, Pfizer is now recommending 6 people should be vaccinated per vial rather than 5.
But doctors say the syringes they have are too large to accurately measure the smaller dose.
One likened it to weighing a portion of spaghetti with scales designed to weigh a human.
The problem doesn’t apply to the Moderna vaccine.
