Football fans in Bern were celebrating last night after Young Boys beat Manchester United 2-1 in a Champions League Group F match.
The winning goal came in stoppage time following a mistake by Jesse Lingard – who had replaced Cristiano Ronaldo 18 minutes before.
United had to play with 10 men after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off following a dangerous challenge on Christopher Martins.
An unlikely star of the game was a young female steward at the Stade de Suisse. She was struck on the head by an off target powerful free kick from Ronaldo.
Ronaldo immediately leapt across the barrier to make sure she was OK and later in the game she was filmed proudly wearing a Ronaldo number 7 shirt.
