Climate activists blocked a section of the A1 autoroute in Zurich yesterday morning.
It took police half an hour to clear the road as some had glued themselves to the tarmac.
Police say the protestors remained calm.
The action caused some traffic jams – but witnesses say the traffic was stopped anyway.
Police used grease to unstick them from the road.
