Verbal and physical attacks against parking wardens in Geneva is increasing and the Fondation des Parkings says it will take more offenders to court.
Abuse can range from low level verbal aggression, such as using the informal ‘tu’ or people pushing the agent or trying to damage the hand-held device carried by them.
But there is also an increase in insults from passers-by. Those who are not even being given a ticket.
The Foundation suggests the higher cost of living is adding to the strain.
