In Geneva, authorities highlighted a marked decline in overall crime, particularly property offences, down seven percent, outpacing the national average.
Sexual offences and narcotics cases also fell.
However, the picture is mixed: burglaries and home invasions rose, and while bicycle theft dropped, car and motorcycle theft increased.
