A new data centre is designed to heat nearby homes in Geneva.
The IT company, Infomaniak, will open a new server farm at the end of the month – and the heat it will generate will be used to warm 6,000 homes in Plan-les-Ouates.
It’s based in the basement of a housing cooperative.
