Geneva inventions fair to be online

The Geneva International Inventions Show is not going ahead this year – it was also cancelled last year.

But inventors from around the world will have a chance to get their product in front of a panel of judges, virtually.

They will have the opportunity to create a three-minute video to convince the judges their product is the best new idea of the year.

There will be nearly 600 inventions from 20 countries in contention from today until the end of the week.

Normally the fair takes place at the Palexpo. In 2019, 31,000 people visited to check out some of the best ideas over the last 12 months.

Organisers hope the 2022 edition will be going ahead.
