A Geneva court has upheld the sacking of a teacher after he posted Islamophobic comments on social media in the summer of 2018.
The 50-year-old lost his job after the Cantonal Education Department says it couldn’t tolerate the comments from a teacher.
The former teacher argued he was commenting on political Islam and not Muslims. He denied attempting to incite violence.
The man told the court he’s ashamed of his posts.
