Valais police have arrested seven French nationals after an overnight raid on a gun shop in Sion.
The suspects — aged 16 to 31 — smashed the shop's main door shortly before midnight and fled in a French-registered car.
Two were caught quickly, while the others were tracked down on foot.
The raid is the eighth such robbery in Switzerland in just over a month, and the second in Sion in three weeks.
Federal police say most stolen Swiss weapons end up in France for gang score-settling, with recruiters paying teenagers as much as EUR 10,000 per job on Snapchat.
