Man critical after Geneva shooting

A young man is in a critical condition after being shot in the Geneva commune of Onex.

Police say another young man is in custody charged with attempted murder. 

The shooting happened in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police, including a specialized firearms squad, arrived at the scene quickly. 

The alleged shooter was soon arrested. Police say he was still armed.  

There’s no information for the reason of the attack. Investigations are ongoing.
