A Geneva man who called emergency services hundreds of times has been fined.
Prosecutors say he obstructed the work of the emergency workers and also threatened them.
The court heard he always complained of chest pains, difficulty breathing and told operators he was close to death.
But when paramedics arrived, he said he didn’t need them.
This could happen 10 times a day, judges were told.
In addition to calling for an ambulance, he also bombarded the police with similar fake calls.
He’s been fined CHF 720 and will have to pay costs. He was also given a CHF 3,500 suspended fine.
