Now two thirds of people believe children will be perfectly happy being brought up by same-sex parents.
Also, only 25% believe it should be the man in a partnership who earns the money, but a third do believe women care for young children better.
That’s a significant shift from 10 years ago. Then, 40% believed the man should earn the money and 51% thought women care for children better.
