The price of sending a letter will go up at the end of the year – the first price rise for 18 years.
From January 1st a ‘B’ mail stamp will cost 90 centimes and ‘A’ mail will be CHF 1.10.
The post office says the price rise is ‘moderate’ and fits with its ongoing drive to become more efficient.
In the first half of the year, Swiss Post, reported profits of CHF 247m.
Although letters are going up – there’s no change in the price of sending a parcel.
