The Swiss Air Force is taking part in a NATO exercise in Germany.
Four Swiss FA 18 fighters will join 10 other nations in the ‘Tiger Meet’ operation. It’s one of the largest exercises in Europe- It takes place every year in a different country.
In all 50 members of the Swiss armed forces will attend. The whole operation involves 1,500 personnel and 60 aircraft.
It’s designed to improve cross-border air defence.
